Privacy & your files

Audio and image files
AudioVizFree processes the audio and images you select in your browser. The editor does not send their contents or filenames to an AudioVizFree media server. Analysis, preview rendering, and export run on your device.
Temporary browser storage
When you choose audio on the homepage, the file is temporarily stored in IndexedDB so it can be passed to the studio on the same site. The studio removes the stored copy when it retrieves it. If the handoff is interrupted, the pending file may remain until the next handoff or until you clear this site's browser data.
Audio and image objects used by the editor are held in browser memory for the current page. The editor does not save a persistent project. Refreshing or closing the editor can lose your changes; download your work before leaving.
Installed app and offline files
A service worker stores this site’s pages, application code, fonts, images, and original demo audio in your browser’s Cache Storage so the tools can work offline. The offline cache does not store your imported audio, artwork, exported files, sign-in pages, or third-party requests. The temporary file handoff described above still applies.
Offline files remain until the browser removes them or you clear this site’s data. Installing or uninstalling the app does not necessarily clear browser storage. New app versions download online and activate after all old app windows are closed; they do not automatically reload your editor. See installation and offline access for details.
Microphone
Microphone access is requested only when you choose Use microphone. It feeds a live visual preview and is not recorded or sent to a media server. Choose Stop microphone or close the editor to stop access. Your browser also provides microphone permission controls.
Downloads
Exported videos and images are downloaded to your device. Your browser and operating system determine where downloads are saved. AudioVizFree does not keep a server-side copy of your exports.
Website delivery and measurement
The hosting provider receives normal website requests, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested URLs, and operational logs. A privately hosted preview may also require its hosting provider's sign-in cookies.
This version does not install advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Basic editor lifecycle events are dispatched locally in the page for optional integration; they do not include audio contents or filenames and are not sent to a remote analytics service by this site.
Help reports
The help page can create a diagnostic report that you copy or download. It contains the issue description you enter and basic browser capabilities. It is not automatically sent anywhere and does not include audio, artwork, or filenames.
